The Deb's

L,Deb's you ask? Yes, there are 2 of us. We officially met our sophmore year of high school.  We weren't immediate besties, as a matter of fact we did not like each other all because of a boy. dunt, dunt, duh...  You see I started dating Andy Sutton the begininng of our freshman year.  When we broke up he started dating Debbie..   Well over the summer, Andy started calling me agian, so we started dating agian, so when we offiically met we had a common bond, yet didnt like each other becase of him. Well I remember the day we officially met, it was October 14th, and the reason I remember this is because it is my other bestie Shaun's  16th birthday.  Andy and Shaun's brother Paul decided it would be fun to bring a cake and chase Shaun around the school having a cake fight. I ended up getting a piece with a big red frosting rose on it. Instead of getting Shaun with that piece I walked up behind Debbie and smashed it into the back of her head dragging it down her hair.  She had (and still has) LONG dark hair. That is how we met, about 4 weeks later we started talking and havent stopped since.
Our connection only started with that 1 boy, but once we started talking we found out much more and its only grown from there.  It is said that everyone has a twin or alter ego out there, I think we are each others.
Here are the connections
Both - Deborah Sue
Birthday -Her- 5/15 Me 5/22
Our parents anniversaries are 2 weeks apart
Our divorces were finalized same day 2 years apart
Her daughter Jessica and my son Michael were born on same day same time to the minute.
The kids have a cowlick in the same place.

I think that we will never be too far away from each other.....

Here are a couple of photos of Debbie and I now....
This is us after an out door concert, one of our most favorite things to do, we are both concert junkies...  This one is Brett Eldridge..

This is Debbie, Shaun and I, yes the Shaun that was mentioned earlier in this post.. and yes there was a mass amount of alcohol consumed that night, it was a party for our birthday...

Well thats us...  Do you have a best friend or friends like mine?

Ways of Thinking...

One of the thing I have always known but have really noticed over the past year..  How most men and women think differently about releationships.
Women, we nurture, feed, think things out.. Most of us will have adjusted, thought out the pros and cons before making a final decision...
Men, well they have 2 ways of thinking... First is what I like to call the "Y" theory, why should I do it, you will and if I ingore it, it isnt really happenng. The other way is more of a direct approach..  I have been burned so I am not going to never ever do it agian.  They do not let the opposite sex get emotionally close to them and do anything to stop it from happening..
Let me tell you either way is equally frustrating....

May, what a month

May is generally a busy month for me. Between birthday's, end of school year, the start of the busy season for my previous employment in the moving industry, and graduations.  This year was really no different my daughter Kylea arrived to visit on May 3rd her birthday. For the next week we ran arround and vegged. My youngest son Michael arrived on Sunday May 11th in the morning and Kylea left on the 11th in the afternoon.  He stayed for a week, agian we ran around and vegged.. Michael left on the 18th then on the 22nd my bestest friend from high school arrived, Debbie stayed for 10 days. Agian nonstop running around, and vegging. Unfortunetly Debbie had to leave a few days early because of a sudden death in her family.  While Debbie was here we celebrated our birthdays as well.

Now we are in June and things are slowing down, and guess what....  Everything is catching up with me, the past 4 days I have had earaches, and have been congested for part of it.  But oh well, everyone had fun and I got to visit with people I missed very much..
